Now, it’s important to note that, for the most part, the game plays exactly like European roulette – same odds, same rules, same everything, if you know how to play roulette you’ll have no problems here. However, aside from the main wheel, you also have a smaller wheel which can net you one of several bonuses each spin, if you’re lucky. I highly recommend that you check out this video of the bonuses in action, since I can’t really describe them all that well in text. Keep in mind that the bonuses (aka the “Deal or No Deal” portion of the game) may vary from casino to casino, but generally, there’s two of them. One of them is pretty boring, and it simulates the banker calling you to make you an offer. Basically, the ball spins on the roulette wheel, and when it lands on a certain spot, you get an offer to accept the value written on that spot. If you reject, it goes again for a limited amount of times. The other bonus, which actually involves breaking open boxes like in the show, is honestly a lot more interesting. In it, you get to select one box that you keep for yourself, and then select other boxes to open and eliminate, with the banker making you an offer to give up on your box in exchange for money every once in a while. Honestly, this bonus round is a LOT more fun than the other one, and it could be a standalone game on its own even without the roulette aspect! It’s really intense, though unless you accept one of the banker’s first offers it may also take a while.
So, in conclusion, “Deal or No Deal Roulette” provides the same odds as regular roulette while also allowing players to earn additional money! So in that case, why are so many neglecting it? You barely hear a whisper about it online! Well, the reason, I believe, is because the people who go to online casinos to play roulette actually want to play roulette, and not “Deal or No Deal”. As fun as the bonus game is for me, personally, others might find it annoying or distracting despite the possibility of extra wins – and that’s fine! To each their own!
