All First Night outdoor events are free, though supported by sales of the First Night button, which is the ticket for general admission to all indoor events. Buttons cost $18 each (children under 4 are admitted free), include a First Night program guide with purchase, and are available at dozens of locations, including Shaw’s Supermarkets, Star Market, Tedeschi Food Shops, and Au Bon Pain.
