Grand Procession
"Look at You, Boston"
Procession Kicks off at 5:30PM from the Hynes Convention Center and goes down Boylston Street, turns left onto Charles Street and ends at the corner of Charles and Beacon Streets.
The Grand Procession is the heart of the First Night celebration, and it has been since the beginning in 1976. "Look at You, Boston," First Night's 32nd anniversary Grand Procession, will contain three sections. Each section, differentiated by colors, is lead by a different piece from the Back Alley Puppet Theatre and Puppeteers Cooperative, whose founders have participated in all 32 First Night celebrations in Boston. The sections are themed Elegance, Excitement and Color.
